Santa Fe Waldorf High School changes music program - 30 August 2006
Due to structural changes in the music program, they won't be affering a guitar class at Waldorf anymore. I'll miss the kids' sense of humor, and our donnuts / pizza parties. theorbist Pablo Champion will be teaching a great new basic musicianship calss.

New CDs: - 19 July 2006
Carlos Perez, great guitarist from Chile, just released the first of a series of CDs dedicated to the music of Antonio Lauro.
Composer Father Jose Maria Blanch's music is featured in a release due August featuring the composer at the piano, soprano Cecilia Letner, and violinist Ellen Chavez de Leitner. They'll be traveling to Spain soon to promote the recording.

Triple guitar houseconcert - 23 February 2006
On Sunday March 26, I'll be performing in a triple bill with Rico Stover and Daniel Weston. Rico is the schollar who edited all the Barrios publications, and Daniel is a fine classical player with a sensitive Spanish touch. Details in the calendar.
New Guitar Recital Series - 29 December 2005
The Los Alamos Guitar Council will be offering a new guitar recital series in 2006, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Greg Schneider.
The venue is the Fuller Lodge.
Greg is a fine guitarist, with whom I played The Beggar's Opera for the Santa Fe Opera, and I hope he'll be playing there soon.
